War correspondence, Jame Foley was killed in Iraq by Islamic State Militant Group. In video released by Islamic militant group revealed that, beheading was retaliation of recent US airstrikes in Iraq,who has been missing since he was kidnapped in northwest Syria in November,2012. Foley was abducted by unknown gunmen outside a cafe in Binesh, along with his translator.

The officials told the Associated Press that they believe it is Foley in the video, bringing to a tragic end a saga that began when Foley was kidnapped
Foley's mother Diane said on Facebook she was proud of her son: "He gave his life trying to expose the world to the suffering of the Syrian people." The White House said if the video was genuine, the US would be "appalled"
